BackInClass

BackInClass: Recovery & Alternative Pathways

It is never too late to go back.

For children and young people who have already left school — whether last term or several years ago — BackInClass creates structured pathways back. Not every pathway looks the same: some children re-enter formal education; others build skills and plan a return on their own terms.

BackInClass is IMS’s dropout recovery and alternative education work. A child who dropped out is not a failure — they are a child the system failed. Our job is to rebuild the bridge back.

STRATEGIC GOAL (SFA 03) Out-of-school children are identified, assessed, and connected to quality learning pathways
